Robyn Edwards - Landscape Restoration Fellow

$10,000 a year for 3 years

Robyn is the East Gippsland Regional Manager of Trust for Nature. She has also been instrumental in establishing the first Conservation Management Network in Victoria, the Gippsland Plains CMN. She has worked on the following: The Peregrine Falcon Project, the Scattered Trees Project, the Indigenous Training and Rainforest Restoration Project, the Grassland and Grassy Woodland ecosystems adaptive management trials and research, and various other restoration projects.

This Fellowship award will help Robyn to further develop her leadership skills while working for Trust for Nature and in landscape restoration generally.

Robyn has recently completed her first year of the Fellowship. Some of her activites included:
Kangaroo Island Restoration Projects Tour
SERI Ecological Restoration Conference  (Perth)
Project Management Training/Tutoring
Stress Reduction courses (Yoga and meditation)
Purchase of 5 botany/ecology books
SERI membership

In summary the fellowship has provided new learnings, ideas and research, improved skills and efficiency, networking and partnership opportunities, physical resources.

Robyn has just received her second year of funding. We look forward to another year working with her.
